Mulch Cam Privacy Policy

Mulch Cam does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics.

Camera and microphone. Camera frames are processed on the device to produce the effects you see, and the microphone, when you switch it on, is used only to measure loudness so sound can drive the effect. Neither is recorded, uploaded, or sent anywhere by the app.

Photos and videos. Photos and videos you capture are saved to your photo library on your device. Video files you import are read from your library and processed on the device. Nothing is uploaded.

Location. If you turn on the location option in Settings, Mulch Cam attaches the location to photos it saves, in the same way the system camera does. This is stored only in the saved file on your device. The option is off unless you enable it, and the app works fully without it.

Network output (macOS). The macOS version can send processed video over your local network using NDI, so other applications can receive it. This happens only while you switch that output on, goes only to your own local network, and never to us.

Purchases. The one-time unlock is handled by Apple. Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been purchased. We never see your payment details.
